Angela Mota is a first-generation Californian, born and raised in the small farming town of Madera. She attended Cal State Long Beach and graduated with a degree in Chemistry.
After losing her position as a lab tech during COVID, she started her career with the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. She was later offered a position at the Point Reyes Post Office and was immediately drawn to its beauty and its community.
After two years of commuting from Richmond, she and her family were able to secure housing through CLAM in 2022. Because of this, she and her wife can fully fund their son's education at UC Davis so that he will graduate debt-free. Angela is committed to creating more housing opportunities in West Marin for families in need.
